Vital Milk provides insurance-covered breast pumps & evidence-based lactation support and information. We hope our services increase knowledge, confidence, and empowerment. We want families to make informed decisions; we will respect everybody’s choice and offer help with individualized lactation plans. Caring for babies is tremendously rewarding and extremely challenging; we want to help families discover the resources they need to thrive.
Dawn Kennedy - Owner
Dawn's journey started as a teen mom who moved to a new city and prioritized creating a community network to both receive and offer lactation support. She began working at WIC and Boston Medical Center as a breastfeeding peer counselor. This personal experience fueled her passion for supporting new parents and led to her taking ownership of Vital Milk. Dawn's vision extends beyond lactation support, connecting people to community resources and advocating for cultural understanding within their communities.
Capre Lewis - Lactation Counselor and Administrator
With a deep understanding of breastfeeding's challenges and rewards, Capre offers empathetic and knowledgeable support to new mothers. Her role at Vital Milk allows her to empower mothers, helping them navigate their unique breastfeeding journey with confidence.
Maria Ferreti - Administrator
Maria ensures that Vital Milk operations run smoothly, contributing to the company's efficiency and effectiveness. Her dedication enables us to provide top-notch service and support to our clients, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
Daisy Boda - Lactation Counselor
Daisy brings a wealth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to her role as a lactation counselor. She dedicates herself to assisting new parents in their breastfeeding journey, providing support, education, and encouragement every step of the way.
Eugenia Juarez - Lactation Counselor
Eugenia's passion lies in supporting new mothers, providing them with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed in breastfeeding. Her empathetic and understanding approach creates a comfortable environment for mothers to ask questions and receive the support they need.
